This pendant is inspired from the artwork by Aubrey Beardsley. Aubrey Vincent Beardsley (1872 – 1898) was an English illustrator and author. His drawings in black ink, influenced by the style of Japanese woodcuts, emphasized the grotesque, the decadent, and the erotic. He was a leading figure in the Aesthetic movement. Beardsley's contribution to the development of the Art Nouveau and poster styles was significant.
Our designers turned the artwork into a line drawing, then engraved it on the mother of pearl. After engraving done, they paint it by using black ink. The mother of pearl sets in a gold plated brass setting.
Please note: Item enlarged in the photos to show detail and may not always be exactly as pictured.
